Why Living Foods?

In nature, all mammals live eight to ten times their maturational age. While humans, and their domesticated pets and farm animals that eat what has become known as the "Standard American Diet" live four times their maturational age.

In the famous Pottinger Cat Study, it was demonstrated that over-cooked food diets result in shorter life spans, congenital abnormalities and eventually, loss of reproductive capability.

In laboratory experiments, mice fed a Living Food diet lived 50% longer than mice fed over-cooked food.It is amazing to see how all animals in nature maximize their enzyme reserve. If you give a squirrel a raw nut, it will not eat it, but always will bury it and later dig it up after its been sprouted. They have found that squirrels have sensors in their noses that can identify a sprouted nut. Raw, unsprouted nuts have enzyme inhibitors that prevent the nuts' food enzymes from digesting it. Only when it sprouts are these inhibitors deactivated.

When we eat the Living Food we were meant to, our entire body operates in optimal health. All of our cells, organs and systems are able to do the jobs they are meant to in a perfect harmonious balance. With a healthy body, we manage all health challenges quite effectively.This is why we rarely see disease in mammals living in nature.

Over-cooked food destroys our body. Living Foods support a healthy body. A Living Food diet leads to a longer, better quality and more energetic life. Think of how you feel after a Thanksgiving feast. The burden of digesting a over-cooked meal drains our energy. This does not happen with Living Food and the extra energy allows the body to focus its energy on cleansing and regenerating our bodies. Less sleep is needed and the sleep we get is more restful. Only when we eat the Living Foods, our bodies evolved eating, can we produce the right balance of hormones and neurotransmitters.

When Bill and I began eating a Living Food diet, in less than a month, our bodies just went "WOW!" The change was undeniable, and we couldn't believe our energy levels and reduced need for sleep. We both lost weight, and our vision even improved. We listened to our bodies, and they were right.
